Shakespeare...

9th Grade: What comes to your mind when you hear the words, "Now we're going to read Shakespeare!" Do you cringe in fear? Do you giggle with glee? What past experiences have you had with Shakespeare to make you react the way you do?

I can't wait! I mean, everyone is always saying that he was an amazing writer. I would be really excited for trying to read it, though I don't know how I would do with the old language. But I do like reading books that are in a different time. You use your imagination to see what it was like then.
I have seen Romeo And Juliet and I liked it. My sister had to watch it for her English class and I had nothing else to do so I watched it with her. I liked the movie but I think it is sad how they both die in the end. That is just so sad. I have also seen Shakespeare stuff on TV too but that's about it.
