Student-Teacher Relationships

I have had many teacher that I loved. Even if I didn't enjoy the subject that they were teaching. Many of my teachers have actually helped me with my writing. My six grade teacher is the one I should thank for getting me into writing. For without her I wouldn't know what I love to do in life. Other teachers I have had that I really liked helped me improve what I was writing. They would look at my books and tell me what I need to change.

But with so many good teachers you always find the bad ones too. Some teachers I just hate. They don't know what they are doing or how to control the class. They get on my nerves and make me mad. Though I always try to get to know them better to see if I had miss read them, which can happen a lot. But some no matter how much I get to know them I can't wait until the year ends and I don't have them anymore. I can't blame them though because teachers always try to do their best.

Honesty

How important is honesty to you? Is it more important than kindness? Share a story of a time you or someone you know was not honest and it caused problems or was 'too honest' and it caused problems.

I think honesty is really important in life. If you think about it we'd have more problems than you can imagine with not being honest. You wouldn't be able to trust any of your friends. You couldn't know if your teachers were teaching you the right stuff. Or your parents. And then trust is a big part in friendship. If your friends were dishonest then things could go terrible wrong.

Not too long ago my friend found out that a person that she knew lied to her and it made her really unhappy. Because she knew she couldn't trust them if they lied. And now her friend is trying to make it up to her in any way they can! It just goes to show that honesty is the best way to go. Just don't go over board with it. So how about we all are just honest so we can all trust each other!

End of the World

The world is ending. There are natural disasters happening everywhere. You know that soon you will be stranded in your house with only the food left in your cupboards. You make a mad dash to the grocery store but everyone there is in such chaos that you know you'll only have time to grab one item before escaping with your life. What item of food do you grab?Describe what the food is, how long you'll wait to eat it, what it will feel like to know you're eating it for the last time. Will you share with your family? Will you hide it away until there's nothing else left? Will you eat it a little at a time or gobble it all at once? Describe every aspect of enjoying this last savory morsel of food.

I think I would grab canned food. I've heard that's what you grab when you have a natural disaster. Because it last the longest... that is till you open it. I don't really care what I will grab so long as it is food, and I don't think I'll be picky about it either. Because when it's the end of the world you should be glad you have food!

I would share it with my family. Because that is the most important thing to me. It would be terrible to just have the food to myself and not share it. If I didn't share it I'd be like a murderer. And I don't want to be that. But first I would eat everything that could turn bad first. Then go on to the other stuff that could last a little longer. Hopefully that will keep me and my family alive till some kind of help comes. But my mum always want to be prepared and I think everyone should be.

The Power of Persuasion

Imagine that you have a superpower. The Power of Persuasion. You can convince anyone of anything. How would you use that power? What would you try to get, do, change? Would you use it for good? Or evil? Describe what the Power of Persuasion is.

The power of Persuasion would be a great power to have. You would be able to talk to someone and have them see your side of things and they would agree... most of the time. I think persuasion can be very powerful on its own. If you think about that's how most people agree with someone else. The other person explains it so well that there is no reason not to agree.

If I had the power of Persuasion I would be able to do so much with it. It would be like being a superhero in a different way. With this power I would want to do good. I would want to show murderers and criminals that what they are doing is wrong. Even other people too. And if you think about it the next generation would be able to grow up in a safer place than we did. The power of persuasion would be able to help the world.

Kissed By An Angel

The last book I read was Kissed By An Angel. I bought the book and it had three inside. Kissed By An Angel, Power Of Love and Soulmates. This book is about a girl who believes in angels. When she and her boyfriend get in a car accident, he dies and she stops believing in angels. The boyfriend is now her angel but the problem is she doesn't believe. He has to make her believe again and save her life. Because his murderer is after her now.

I liked it because it introduced you to everything and didn't take to long to do it. I started reading it at the bookstore and begged my mum to let me buy it by the time we were about to go home. I also enjoyed trying to figure out who was after her by using clues in the book. You also get to meet some interesting people in the book which was fun, and seeing how they all twist together somehow. I think more people should read this book.

I believe this book should get five stars!

Cathy is seventeen living in LA. Even though she is just seventeen she's a Keeper. She watches over the zoo animals to make sure that they are always happy. And that is not always an easy job, especially for her. You see when ever she touches water she grows a tail. Yep, she's a mermaid. But she loves her job too much to stop. I mean, after all she is part fish.
Cathy was smart do get the job at night when most of the workers have already gone home and she could do the feeding and watering in peace. And not have to worry about anyone seeing her tail if she got any water on her. Also she can talk to the animals without being looked at funny. Because she's half fish she has a gift of talking to animals, so she's the best at her job. She knows when they're upset or if they want something. She enjoys helping the animals, so really this is the perfect job for her.

The Best Break Ever!!

I think if I could do anything for the Christmas break I would go to Ireland. I've always wanted to go there, but never have. I've also read some books on it. But I would want to go there because I read once that you can rent castles there. I would take all of my friends and family and rent a castle there. We could explore it and just think how fun it would be to play hide and go seek in there! We would have everything we need and it would be awesome!

I believe this would be the best break ever because I get to have my friends and family there with me and this has been a dream of mine for awhile now. I always told myself that one day I would go and do this. And with this break that would be possible. It would be so much fun to wake up Christmas morning in the castle and open presents, and spend New Years Eve together. So if I could go any where it would be Ireland.
